DEWALI CELEBRATION :

Dewali celebrated at Children and Senior Citizens home. Crackers were fired and the whole day was enjoyed in new dresses with sweets and Special food, all together, both children and the old.

HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS :

We opened the senior citizens Home for Men. The home provides all the necessary facilities for the aged.

EXPOSURE VISIT :

The students of Saraswathy Nadar Higher Secondary school, Theni from National Service Scheme and SCOUT scheme visited our organization. Students and teachers shared their joys with senior citizens and learned about the different type of services from AHM Trust. They distributed new dresses and sweets to all the residents of Senior citizens Home.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE:

In May 2014 the training period ended and we were all happy to announce that all candidates passed. All the trainees received course certificates and new students introductory session was conducted.

STAFF TRAINING :

On 17th and 18th of this month we conducted the training to the staff. The training was on Training of Trainers ( TOT ). All the staff were participated actively.

HIGHLIGHTS OF NOVEMBER 2013

Dear Friends,

Many Greetings from A H M Trust. We are very happy to circulate the AHM Trust Highlights of November 2013.

CHILD PROTECTION AND WELFARE PROGRAMME:

Dewali celebrated with the students of Agricultural College of Technologies, Theni. Students and Lecturers shared their joys with children and senior citizens. Crackers were fired and the whole day was enjoyed in new dresses, sweets and good food, all together, old and young.

We conducted the Panchayat level meetings of the Integrated Child Protection Scheme ( ICPS ) and discussed about the children issues with the school teachers, Local body elected members, children, Women Self help group members, Village health nurse and ICPS members.

We have identified child labour, dropout children through house hold survey and created awareness about the importance of education and child rights to the parents.

We rescued the ran away children from the hostel and family with the help of the police and reunited with their parents and warden. We are expecting the letter of appointment from the Child Line India Foundation to implement the Child Line at Theni district.
